Shaker Raised Panel Kitchen Island 25" x 36"

For five years I have been selling only those items that I make that will fit in a shipping box but I am now offering freight and delivery service and starting to list the larger items I make. In addition to the larger furniture items I will be adding throughout this year.

This Shaker style farmhouse island would be a beautiful addition to your kitchen.

This kitchen island comes completely assembled. 

I make my kitchen and closet islands the same way I make my cabinets. traditional 5 piece cope and stick drawer fronts and doors with solid wood raised (or flat) panels.

My drawers are 3/4" ply and screwed (not stapled) together to last many years. Drawer rears are built to allow easy replacement of drawer bottom in case of spills or other damage. I use only heavy duty, soft-stop ball bearing drawer slides (not cheap wheel cantilever euro style slides). 

The trash bin is slide out, not tilt out, ensuring many years of use.

I can use any drawer/cabinet pulls and hardware available from big box home improvement stores. for other hardware suppliers it's easiest if you order the hardware and have it shipped to me to install.

My islands are functional and stylish centerpieces and are crafted from high-quality 3/4" cabinet-grade veneered plywood and trimmed with durable hardwood for a timeless and sturdy look. (I can also make these in rustic stained base versions trimmed in pine or other species).

Height is 36 inches, width is 25 inches.

Available in standard 36, 48, 60 and 72 inch lengths but I can also make custom sizes, just message me. 36 and 48 inch lengths have one bank of 3 drawers and 1 trash slide out. 60 and 72 inch lengths have two banks of three drawers (6 total) on the right and one trash slide out.

This unit has a 3/4" birch plywood carcass, poplar trim, and solid butcherblock style birch countertop.

Countertop can be finished one of two ways:

1. Polyurethane - this is what I do by default - not meant to be cut on, less maintenance, hard surface, easily sanded and recoated to refresh any wear. Very pretty and clean.

2. Oil/Wax - meant for food and knife contact, will get cut and scratched, will look well worn and used over time, requires regular application of oil/wax, softer feel to the touch and finish, will show more signs of wear, my preferred countertop type but I'm old school. I CANNOT STAIN Oiled/Waxed tops.

I ship these one of two ways and there's no hard and fast rule. If you are within 400 miles (driving) of San Angelo, TX I typically hand deliver these which means I can address any issues on site and can also help you get it inside and set up. Outside of 400 miles I typically freight ship these which means you'll have to get it inside and set up on your own, freight companies will not help with this (nor would you probably want them to). If you have a preference let's discuss it and options.

Included in the price of this unit is shipping to most of the U.S. however some areas cost more and will incur a surcharge of up to $250 (NY and northeastern states, WA and northwestern states, and I do not offer delivery outside the continental United States.

Due to the high shipping costs involved in the items I sell and the customized/personalized nature of these I do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds. In the rare cases an island is damaged in shipping, I will work with you to get the item fully repaired.
