48" Blind Corner Base Cabinet, Blind Left (21" Usable) – Face Frame Raised Panel Shaker (Ready to Paint)

This 48" raised panel Shaker blind corner base cabinet puts the dead space in an L-shaped corner to work. The 27" blind section tucks into the corner behind the adjoining cabinet, and the 21" usable section gives you a drawer up top and a door with an interior shelf below. I build it in my shop and deliver it fully assembled, sanded smooth, and ready for your paint, so you get solid construction and the freedom to pick your own color.

Blind left or blind right?

Stand facing the cabinet. The side the blind (covered) section is on is the side in the name. This is a blind left: the blind section is on the left, so the corner is on your left and the door hinges on the right, away from the corner. Need the corner on your right? Choose the blind right version. Both are the same price.

3" filler needed for installation (sold separately)

Installing a blind corner cabinet takes a 3" filler. The filler is sold separately and is not included with this cabinet. Your installer attaches it to the corner end of the adjoining cabinet's face frame, where it holds that cabinet 3" off the face of this one so the doors, drawer fronts, and hardware on both cabinets clear each other in the corner.

• Dimensions: 48" W x 24" D x 34.5" H (27" blind section + 21" usable section)
• Toe kick: 4" high x 3.5" deep
• Case: 3/4" 13-ply Baltic birch plywood
• Face frame and door stiles/rails: poplar hardwood
• Face frames: 1.5" wide, with 1/2" overlay doors and drawer fronts
• Center panels: 3/4" MDF raised panels (pre-primed panels available, just ask)
• The 3/4" MDF raised panels make these doors heavier than our flat panel doors.
• Blind section: a plain, flat 3/4" MDF blank panel (not raised) that is hidden once the adjoining cabinet is installed
• Shaker profile: choose 0° (square) or 15° (angled) on the inside edge of the door and drawer frames, at the same price
• Top drawer: 6" x 19" drawer front; 1/2" Baltic birch drawer box (not dovetail), 4" tall inside, 17 3/8" wide with undermount slides (17" wide with standard side-mount slides)
• Drawer fronts under 8" high are made flat panel, not raised, so the 6" top drawer front is flat panel. The door is raised panel.
• Drawer slides: choose standard ball-bearing side-mount (not soft-close), contractor-grade soft-close undermount, or luxury soft-close undermount
• Door on soft-close concealed hinges, hinged on the right (away from the corner)
• One interior shelf
• Needs a 3" filler for installation, sold separately (not included); the installer attaches it to the adjoining cabinet
• Sanded smooth, ready to paint
• Built to order: normally built and delivered in 15 business days
• Delivered fully assembled, with the door and drawer fitted and adjusted

Why paint-ready

• Costs less than full custom. Paint it yourself or hire your own painter. Install it yourself and you can save thousands more.
• Your color, brand, and sheen. Match your trim, island, or existing cabinets.
• Stronger than RTA (ready-to-assemble). A Baltic birch plywood box, no visible interior nailers, and nothing to assemble.
• Ready about as fast as RTA. Normally built and delivered in 15 business days, about the same time frame as RTA. Standard cabinets can be batch-built, so lead times can be shorter than full custom.
• Built and supported locally. Questions, adjustments, or more cabinets later? You know who to call.
