Collection: Raised Panel Shaker Cabinets

Solid, shop-built cabinets, ready for your paint. I build these face frame raised panel Shaker base, sink base, and wall cabinets in my shop and deliver them sanded smooth, ready for the color you choose.

Why paint-ready

• Save money. Paint-ready costs less than full custom, fully finished cabinets. Paint them yourself or hire your own painter, and put more of your budget into materials and hardware. Install them yourself and you can save thousands more.
• Your color, your way. Match your trim, your island, your existing cabinets, or your own style, with the paint brand and sheen you prefer.
• Ready about as fast as RTA. Normally built and delivered in 15 business days. That's about the same time frame as RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets, and since standard cabinets can be batch-built, lead times can be shorter than full custom.

Built stronger than RTA

• Better boxes. 3/4" 13-ply Baltic birch plywood and no visible interior nailers like RTA.
• No assembly, no flat-pack headaches. They arrive fully assembled: no flat-pack damage or return hassle, no sorting panels or deciphering instructions, no building boxes. I fit and adjust the doors and drawers myself before delivery.

What goes into these cabinets

• 3/4" 13-ply Baltic birch plywood cabinet boxes
• Poplar hardwood face frames and door stiles/rails, a paint-grade hardwood with a clean, classic Shaker look
• 3/4" MDF raised center panels (pre-primed panels available, just ask)
• The 3/4" MDF raised panels make these doors heavier than our flat panel doors.
• Drawer fronts under 8" high are made flat panel, not raised. That includes the 6" top drawer fronts on the base cabinets and the false drawer fronts on the sink bases. The doors and taller drawer fronts are raised panel.
• Soft-close concealed hinges
• Base cabinets: 1/2" Baltic birch drawer boxes (not dovetail) on soft-close undermount drawer slides concealed beneath the drawer, the same hardware I use in my custom cabinets
• Base and sink base cabinets: 4" high x 3.5" deep toe kick
• Wall cabinets: 12" deep, 30", 36", or 42" tall, and 12" to 36" wide, with one or two raised panel Shaker doors and adjustable shelves (two in the 30" height, three in the 36" and 42" heights)
• Sanded smooth and ready to paint
