About Me

Hi, I’m Chris Webb — the craftsman behind The Webb Ranch.

I’m a proud father of five, with my youngest (and only girl), Sawyer, keeping me on my toes. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and it’s a big part of why I love creating pieces that help turn houses into homes.

My path to woodworking has been anything but ordinary. As a teenager, I worked restoring Victorian homes, learning the ins and outs of flooring, refinishing, and carpentry. By 1997, I was honing those skills on a larger scale, doing interior carpentry on three Whataburger restaurants.

Not long after, I shifted gears into technology, founding a web hosting company in 1999. From there, I pursued my Finance degree at New Mexico State University and Texas Tech, which led me into nearly two decades in healthcare — 12 of those years at the executive level.

Then came COVID-19. The pandemic closed the doors of my healthcare company, but it also reopened the door to an old passion: carpentry. What began as a hobby quickly grew into something much bigger. By 2021, I made the leap to woodworking full-time, and since then I’ve had the privilege of creating and delivering more than 2,000 pieces to homes in 17 countries around the world.

In 2025, I expanded The Webb Ranch to offer full custom cabinetry and cabinet refacing products, combining my lifelong love of woodworking with the experience and precision I’ve built across every chapter of my career.

Every project I take on is personal, and every piece is crafted to bring beauty, function, and lasting value into the lives of my customers.
